It’s a big day here at the Roadhouse Brewing Co. We’re running a series of final tests on the brewhouse in prep for our first full batch on our 7 barrel Newlands System - see our first whirpool test in our brew kettle below. Additionally, our new delivery rig just arrived – The Powerful Pils Power Wagon. This 1967 W-100 Dodge Power Wagon holds special meaning to those of us here at the Roadhouse. It belonged to a good friend of ours who left this life too early, Joe Casey. If you lived in or around the Jackson, Wyoming area chances are you crossed paths with Joe. He was a sincere, compassionate friend, one hell of an athlete, and had an uncanny ability to make you laugh. If Joe was in the room you knew it, and you were most likely laughing.
It is with great pride we’ll soon be delivering beer as bold as Joe in a truck that meant so much to him. We’d rather have Joe sitting behind the driver seat, but nonetheless we’re happy he’ll be a part of every barrel we deliver.
